Europe Euro 2024 : Cristiano Ronaldo leads Portugal’s squad for tournament

39-year old Cristiano Ronaldo is included in Portugal squad for Euro 2024 in Germany by head coach Roberto Martinez.

The five-time Ballon d’or is no longer playing in a competitive league nearly two years now.

However, his figures in Saudi Arabia are still elite for a player of his age.

Cristiano Ronaldo Indeed scored 33 goals and provided 11 assists with Al-Nassr this season in Saudi Pro League and was the joint top scorer of the Euro 2024 qualifiers with Romelu Lukaku (10 goals each).

His main goal is to win a second European Championship with the Seleçao after that of 2016 under Fernando Santos.

Portugal is located in Group F alongside Georgia, Turkey and Czech Republic which will be his first opponent on June 17 in the competition.
