South Africa had coach Hugo Broos has included Burnley forward Lyle Foster in his 23-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
The 23-year old missed the last Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire due to mental health issues.
But the Bafana Bafana still managed to come back home with a bronze medal with Ronwnen Williams and Teboho Mokoena playing a key role.
Foster was also missing in March when South Africa drew with Andorra (1-1) and Algeria (3-3). But he is mentally free now and has been called back by Broos.
The Bafana Bafana who are currently second in Group C with 3 points will travel to Abuja to take on Nigeria on June 7 before facing Zimbabwe four days later (June 11) at home.
