Victor Osimhen will not be the only called-up Super Eagle who will miss the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with Nigeria.
Things are getting more and more complicated for Finidi George who is leading his first trainings as the Super Eagles head coach.
With Nigeria being only third in their Group with 2 points after two draws against Lesotho (1-1) and Zimbabwe (1-1), the fact that two key players are ruled out makes things a bit more stringy for the staff.
After Victor Osimhen who is ruled out due to an injury with will sideline him for one month, Nigeria staff announced on Thursday that Bayer Leverkusen forward Nathan Tella will also miss this international break but for different reasons.
