Uganda DONE DEAL: Shafik Nana joins KCCA FC from BUL FC

Kwikiriza Shafik Nana has signed a five-year deal with Ugandan Premier League side KCCA FC until the end of the 2028–29 season.

Nana previously played for BUL FC for the 2022–23 and 2023–24 seasons. The 20-year-old is a senior six student at Jinja Progressive Secondary School.

Kwikiriza operates as a winger and can also play as an attacker. The player spoke to the club media upon putting pen to paper and said: “I am delighted to join KCCAFC. It is a dream come true to join a club of this caliber. I have had conversations with the club manager and he shared with me his grand plan and philosophy and I believe I can be a key figure to his plans. I want to add to the rich history of this club and I trust that we can do this together with my other teammates.”

Nana was part of the BUL FC side that finished second in the Ugandan Premier League and semifinalists in the Stanbic Uganda Cup last season.
