Transfer window Ademola Lookman : Juventus show interest in Nigerian forward

Serie A giants Juventus Turin are reportedly plotting a move for Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman who has had a mind-blowing season with Atalanta Bergamo during the last term.

The 26-year old was the main man for Gasperino’s side last season.

Lookman scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists in 45 games across all competitions winning the Europa League title with a hat-trick in final against Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen.

His performances could not be unnoticed and several clubs including Bayern Munich and Manchester United showed interests in him.

But according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello sport, Juventus new boss Thiago Motta asked the club’s hierarchy to sign Ademola Lookman.

Motta loves the Super Eagle’s style of and his character. However, the Bianconeri are yet to make an offer for Atalanta who valued the 2023 AFCON runner-up at €50m.
