Tanzania DONE DEAL: Azam FC reach agreement with Prince Dube to leave club

Tanzania Premier League outfit Azam FC have announced they have agreed to Prince Dube’s request to terminate his contract with the club, which he submitted in March 2024.

The Ice Cream makers confirmed in their social media platform ‘Instagram’ that the decision comes following the player’s fulfilment of contractual obligations as specified in the clauses permitting unilateral contract termination.

Dube, known for his contributions on the field, has been a key figure during his tenure with Azam. According to the clubs’ statement, his departure marks the conclusion of a significant chapter in both his career and the club’s journey.

“Dube’s time with Azam has been marked by notable performances and memorable moments, earning him admiration from fans and recognition within the football community,” read the statement as reported by Daily News.

“His professionalism and dedication to the club have left a lasting impression, making him a respected figure among teammates and supporters alike. The decision to part ways has been reached amicably, with mutual respect for the player’s aspirations and career ambitions.

“Azam remains committed to its ongoing mission of fostering talent and achieving excellence in domestic and international competitions.”
