Nigeria Premier League NPFL: Enugu Rangers To Resume Pre-Season July 9

Rangers International’s Fidelis Ilechukwu stated that the 2023/2024 NPFL champions’ early resumption is intended to help them meet their goals for the coming season.

Rangers management told both retained and new players that pre-season activities will commence on July 9th, 2024, in preparation for the next season.

On the break and resumption, Ilechukwu stated; “It was a much-needed break for the footballers after a long, exhausting season, even if more time could have been granted.

“We can’t do that as we have to kick-start preparation for the continental competition that is scheduled to start in August.

“Returning early is a sacrifice we must make to realize our set target for the coming season.”

Also, the reigning Nigerian league champions have completed all papers for participation in the continent’s premier club competition and are awaiting a club licencing certificate from CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
