Nigeria Oshoala, Onumonu Arrive Super Falcons Camp

Asisat Oshoala and Ifeoma Onumonu have joined their Super Falcons teammates in training ahead of the 2024 Olympics.

Oshoala and Onumonu arrived for the team’s Jerez de la Frontera training camp on Wednesday.

The arrival of the duo brought the total number of players in camp to 16.

The remaining players are slated to report to camp by Friday.

The Super Falcons began training for the Olympics last weekend in Sevilla, Spain.

Already Team captain Rasheedat Ajibade is in camp, as are goalkeepers Chiamaka Nnadozie and Tochukwu Oluehi, defenders Osinachi Mavis Ohale, Chidinma Okeke, Nicole Payne, and Michelle Chinwe Alozie, and midfielders Christy Ucheibe and Toni Oyedupe Payne.

Others include Gift Monday, Deborah Abiodun, Morufat Ademola, Jennifer Onyi Echegini, and Esther Ifeoma Okoronkwo.

The Super Falcons will face reigning Olympic winners Canada in a friendly next Wednesday.
