Inter Milan stated on Friday that Simone Inzaghi has signed a one-year contract extension.
“With this new agreement, the coach will lead the Nerazzurri until 2026,” the club announced in a statement.
Following Antonio Conte’s exit in 2021, Inzaghi, 48, took over on a two-year contract and extended it until 2025 last September.

Inter finished 19 points clear of AC Milan at the Serie A summit, securing their 20th league title with five games remaining after a 2-1 victory over their bitter rivals in April.
In three seasons, the former Lazio coach guided the team to three Italian Supercups, two Italian Cups, and the Champions League final in 2023.
While Inter was eliminated from the Champions League and Italian Cup in the round of 16 previous season, they dominated Serie A with 29 victories, seven draws, and only two losses.
Inter’s ownership changed in May, with US fund Oaktree taking control from Chinese group Suning, which was unable to service a debt of hundreds of million dollars.
