Toni Payne, a Super Falcons midfielder, has admitted that playing against the Brazilians will be difficult.

The 9-time African champions will face Brazil in the first group game of the women’s football competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

While speaking to the NFF TV, Payne stated they are at the level of Brazil but it will be challenging.

“Being in the World Cup is an amazing experience and being able to compete on the international stage with this team again is a good opportunity and I’m excited.

“Brazil is a tough team and talented but as Nigeria, we are at their level and it’s going to be a good match,” she said.
