Nigerian forward Moses Simon is yet to be injury-free, FC Nantes coach Antoine Kombouare said after the Super Eagle scored in Canaries’ 2-1 win over Stade Lavalois in a friendly game on Saturday.
The 28-year old scored the winner for Nantes in the 60th minute from the penalty spot but had to let his place for Adel mahamoud five minutes later due to a fresh injury.
According to Nantes coach Antoine Kombouare, Simon has an issue with his ankle which is worrying him.
“I only regret that Moses Simon is struggling with his ankle,” the French manager said in his post-match reaction.
This i a major blow for Moses Simon who intended to start the new season in shape after having spent over three months on the sidelines due to an injury picked up while on international duty for Nigeria in March.
