Favour Ashe, a sprinter for Team Nigeria, has revealed why he did not make the men’s 100-meter final in 2024 Paris Olympic games.

After a spectacular performance in the heat, the Nigerian International, who received the final non-automatic ticket into the semifinal, began the race strongly, but he was unable to equal the finish of the others.

While speaking with Making of Champ on video, Ashe blamed the performance on the umpire.

” I would say, I was physically and mentally ready , I came into the race fully prepared but I stumbled at the blocks, like I almost fell down, I thinks that was because the umpire didn’t perform well.

” We didn’t do a test block, so I stumbled “, he said.

Ashe is expected to participate in Team Nigeria’s 4×100 meters relay.
