Uganda Yasin Mugabi returns to KCCA FC as keeper trainer ahead of new season

Yasin Mugabi, a former KCCA FC player, has penned a three-year contract with the club and joins the goalkeeping department as a coach.

Mugabi will work with goalkeeper’s coach Moses Oloya to groom and develop goalkeepers at the club. He previously played for KCCA FC in the 2014–15 season and went on to play for a number of clubs in Uganda and Zambia.

Mugabi’s introduction to the fold is to beef up the goalkeeping department and will work with Moses Oloya to ensure goalkeepers are developed and groomed into global super stars.

Currently, KCCA FC has three licensed goalkeepers for the 2024–25 season; Anthony Emojong Okimaru, Mutwalibi Mugolofa and youngster Humphrey Oyirwoth.

He will be tasked with developing goalkeepers for the club’s soccer academy.
