El-Kanemi Warriors could host Beninoise team Dadje FC in their CAF Confederation Cup match at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne after the African football regulatory body denied Moshood Abiola Stadium clearance.

The first leg of the preliminary round was originally slated to take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

According to rumours, CAF has declined to approve the stadium due to the pitch’s uneven surface.

The match is scheduled for next weekend, with the reverse taking place in Cotonou on August 25.

The winner will face Morocco’s RS Berkane in the second preliminary round.
