Lamine Camara on target as Monaco HUMBLE Barcelona to lift Joan Gamper Trophy

Senegal younsgter Lamine Camara wrote his name on the scoressheet as AS Monaco defeated FC Barcelona 3-0 tonight to claim the Joan Gamper Trophy.

For the first time since 12 years, Barcelona will not start the new season with the Joan Gamper Trophy.

The Catalonians who won this friendly title over the past 11 years have been humiliated by Monaco with Senegal international Lamine Camara opening the scoring in the 50th minutes of play.

The 20-year old midfielder caught Barcelona’s defence sleeping on a collective high pressing and beat Ter Stegen to make it 1-0 for the French side.

Breel Embolo and Christian Mawissa scored the other two goals to defeat Hansi Flikc’s men.
