Transfers Liverpool Confirm Carvalho Departure To Brentford

Liverpool has announced the departure of Fabio Carvalho to Brentford on a permanent deal on Monday

The attacker completed his move to the Bees today, ending his two-year stay with Liverpool.

Carvalho joined the Reds from Fulham in July 2022 and has scored three goals in 21 competitive games.

The 21-year-old earned his debut for the club after coming on as a substitute in the 2022 FA Community Shield triumph over Manchester City.

He scored his first goal the following month in a 9-0 rout of AFC Bournemouth at Anfield, followed by a 98th-minute winner over Newcastle United four days later.

Carvalho spent time on loan at RB Leipzig and Hull City in 2023-24 before returning to Liverpool this summer to play regularly in preseason.

He will now begin a new chapter in his career with Thomas Frank’s Brentford, who kick off their Premier League campaign against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Everyone at LFC wishes Fabio the best of luck for the future.
