Engr. Musa Kida, President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), has stated that Rena Wakama will be retained as D’Tigress’ head coach following their historic performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Engr. Kida lauded Wakama’s leadership, highlighting her accomplishments, which included leading D’Tigress to victory at the 2023 AfroBasket and Olympic qualification.
