UEFA SUPER CUP UEFA Super Cup:Mbappe Sets To Make Madrid Against Atalanta

Kylian Mbappe will make his highly awaited Real Madrid debut against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday night at the National Stadium in Warsaw.

The Champions League winners will face Atalanta, who won the Europa League crown last season.

Mbappé, who joined Madrid last month and has been on leave since his involvement at Euro 2024, will be hungry to win his first trophy as a Madrid player.

Mbappé is anticipated to spearhead the assault, supported by Rodrygo and Vinícius Júnior on the wings.

Despite limited preseason action due to the Euros, Jude Bellingham is expected to start.

Madrid will be without Nacho and Toni Kroos, who have left since the Champions League final victory over Borussia Dortmund.

Eder Militão and Aurélien Tchouaméni are expected to replace current starters.

Meanwhile, Atalanta has strengthened their squad with recent signings, including the permanent addition of Charles De Ketelaere, Ben Godfrey from Everton, and Nicolo Zaniolo on loan from Roma.

Gianluca Scamacca, who has a long-term anterior cruciate ligament injury, will miss the game, as will Teun Koopmeiners.

Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini said that Koopmeiners missed training to pursue a move to Juventus, causing the club to take a harsh position against his activities.

Real Madrid and Atalanta will compete for the famous UEFA Super Cup, which promises to be a thrilling display for both new and experienced players.
