Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will not only miss tonight’ UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta Bergamo but also several weeks of competition with Los Blancos.
The 21-year old picked up an injury during Carlo Ancelotti men’s last training session on Tuesday night.
Camaving went down after suffering a tackle from Aurelien Tchouameni and left immediately the pitch for care.
Real Madrid have now released a statement regarding his injury and the scare is there.
“Following tests carried out today on our player Eduardo Camavinga, he has been diagnosed with a sprain of the internal collateral ligament in his left knee. Pending evolution,” club statement reads.
In addition, Spanish journalist Jose Luis Sanchez adds that the Frenchamn will be sidelined for 6 up to 7 weeks.
