El Kanemi Warriors will play a CAF Confederation Cup home game against Dadjè FC on Saturday day, August 17, at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

El-Kanemi Warriors initially experienced scheduling difficulties ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCL) first preliminary round match against the Benin team, which was originally scheduled on Sunday, August 18.

The team trained on Thursday for the first time at the Remo Stars Stadium ahead of the game.

The 2023/24 President Federation Cup champions were scheduled to host Dadje on Sunday at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, but CAF prohibited them from using the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

The African football regulatory body dismissed the MKO stadium owing to poor pitch conditions.
