CAF CONFEDERATION CUP CAFCC: Kenya Police FC Set for Debut Against Coffee Sports SC

Kenya Police FC is preparing to make its debut in the CAF Confederation Cup with a crucial clash against Ethiopia’s Coffee Sports SC on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Nyayo National Stadium, kicking off at 3:00 PM.

This match follows Kenya Police FC’s recent triumph in the 2024 Mozzart Bet Cup, where they emerged victorious in a dramatic final against KCB. The match ended in a goalless draw during regular time, leading to a tense penalty shootout.

Police secured the win with an 8-7 victory, a result that not only earned them the domestic cup but also paved the way for their participation in the Confederation Cup.

To encourage strong home support, Police has waived all gate charges for the match, inviting fans to come out in large numbers to support the team as they strive for a vital first-leg victory.

Following this home fixture, Police will travel to Ethiopia for the second leg of the preliminary round, scheduled for Sunday, August 25, 2024. The aggregate winner from both legs will advance to the second preliminary round of the competition.
