Guinea will be missing one of its’ key players when facing Tanzania in September in 20225 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
According to French outlet Midi Libre, Guinean left-back Issiaga Sylla picked up an injury last week in training with Montpellier.
The 30-year old suffered a thigh injury and will miss not only Montpellier’s next league game against PSG but also the matchday 3 one against Mohamed Mostafa’s Nantes.
Issiaga Sylla is expected to be out for two weeks and as a result, will not be fit for Guinea’s matches against RD Congo (6th September) in Kinshasa and Tanzania (10th September) in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.
