The Super Eagles of Nigeria will begin training in Uyo on September 1 in preparation for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Prior to the important matches against Rwanda and the Benin Republic, this preparation is underway.
The majority of the invited players are anticipated to be in Uyo shortly after the backroom staff arrives, according to club officials on September 1.

The three-time African champions, Nigeria, will first play the Benin Republic’s Cheetahs at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on September 7, with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m.
The squad will then depart for Rwanda for the second qualifier, which is slated to take place three days later.
However, with Finidi George’s departure in June, the Super Eagles are currently without a head coach.
A new coach has not yet been appointed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), which creates uncertainty as the qualifiers draw near.
According to reports, the NFF’s Technical Director, Austin Eguavoen, would take temporary charge of the team for these two games.
The NFF is also looking into long-term coaching options.
Hervé Renard, a seasoned player in African football, and Janne Andersson, a former coach of Sweden, are both being considered for the position.
Renard has a wealth of expertise, having worked successfully in Morocco, Angola, Zambia, and the Ivory Coast.
After making it to the AFCON final and losing to Côte d’Ivoire by a small margin, Nigeria is once again a serious candidate to go to Morocco and maybe win their first championship since 2013.
