Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson slammed the club’s legend Jonh Mikel Obi on social media following his criticism on his finishing qualities.

The former Blues midfielder questioned Nicolas Jackson’s abilities to finish goal scoring actions for Chelsea in a recent call on beIN Sports.

And it did not please Jackson who, after having scored Chelsea’s fastest goal in the Premier League since 2017 today against Wolverhampton (6-2 win), took aim at the Nigerian.

“Shut your mouth. Don’t talk sh**, we are killing ourselves for Africa,” he wrote on Instagram.

As a reminder, Mikel Obi previously said : “We’ve played OK, we haven’t played perfect, but we’ve played OK. We created chances, we haven’t taken them. And just an example of how Jackson finishes.”

“You can see there, even though he was offside, he dribbles past one or two or three players and the way he shot the ball.

“I know I talk so much about him and sometimes I sound like I disrespect him. I don’t disrespect him. I think at Chelsea Football Club we need a top striker who can get us a goal. A bit like Haaland, 91 goals for City, that’s absolutely unbelievable.”
