Nigeria AFCON 2025 Qualifier: Ndidi Upbeat Of a win Against Benin, Rwanda

In preparation for the forthcoming 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic, Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has declared the team ready.

The first leg of the qualification will take place in Uyo, with the Nigerian team hosting the Benin Cheetahs.

A few months ago, the Beninoise defeated the Super Eagles in the 2026 World Cup qualifier held in Ivory Coast.

The Leicester City midfielder did, however, affirm that they are prepared to exact revenge.

“We know we haven’t done as well as we wanted in the World Cup qualifiers but we’re ready to make things right in Uyo.

“They ( Benin) has their win in Abidjan but we’ll see what happens in Uyo.

Don’t worry we’re prepared“, he said.
