Asisat Oshoala, scored against her former club Barcelona Femeni as Bay FC, suffered a 5-2 defeat in a friendly at the PayPal Park.

In an exhibition match against FC Barcelona Femeni during the off-season, the former Liverpool star made her way back to her club in San Jose, California, USA.
In just their second-ever game against an international opponent, Bay FC got off to a quick start in the 17th minute of play.
Near the edge of the box, the 2023 Female CAF Player of the Year intercepted a pass from Barcelona goalkeeper Gemma Font and scored into the lower left corner of the goal.
Four minutes later, the Spanish team tied the game.
Kika Nazareth scored a goal from the edge of the box that went just inside the left post after Ewa Pajor dribbled down the right side of the pitch and slid a pass to him.
The score was 2-2 at the interval, but the Americans were unable to respond to Barca’s devastating attack in the second half.
Following the match, Oshoala expressed her gratitude to her former team and teammates on her X page by writing a post titled “Forever My Family.”
When Bay FC plays the Portland Thorns at Providence Park on Friday, they will be back in action in the NWSL.
