FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP FIFA U20 WWC: Falconets Ready To Battle Korea Republic

The Falconets, the women’s U-20 team from Nigeria, are prepared to start their quest for glory at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

Coach Chris Danjuma will lead the team in this competition.

The team’s first assignment is a tough match against the Korea Republic on Monday, September 2, at 12 AM (Nigerian time), at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo in Bogota.

It is expected that Faith Omilana will start in goal for the Falconets, while Comfort Folorunsho, Shukurat Oladipo, Rofiat Imuran, and Jumoke Alani will make up the defensive line.

Olushola Shobowale, Yina Adoo, Chioma Olise, Aminat Omowunmi Bello, and Oluchi Ohaegbulam are anticipated to support Oluchi Ohaegbulam in leading the midfield.

It is probable that Janet Akekoromowei, Opeyemi Ajakaye, Flourish Sabastine, and Chiamaka Okwuchukwu will be responsible for assaulting.

Cameroon and Mexico drew 2-2 to start the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup on Saturday, August 31st.
