Nigeria Iwobi, Bassey, Onyeka Arrive Super Eagles camp

Super Eagles trio of Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and Frank Onyeka have arrived the Super Eagles camp on Tuesday.

The players arrival took the numbers of players to 14 as at the time of this report as other players are being expected later.

Iwobi and Bassey were in action for Fulham on Saturday who played a 1-1 draw against newly promoted Ipswich Town.

Onyeka recently secured a loan move from Brentford to Bundesliga side, Augsburg .

The Super Eagles will play Benin Republic on September 7 in the opening Group game of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers before travelling to Kigali to play against Rwanda.

Similarly,Super Eagles assistant coaches, Fidelis Illechukwu and Daniel Ogunmodede has joined Austin Eguavoen and the team could hold its first training session later this evening.
