Top News Lookman Nominated As Only Africa Player For Ballon D’Or Award

Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman is the only African player to be nominated for the 2024 Ballon D’Or.

Lookman helped Atalana to win the UEFA Europa League netting hat trick against Bayer Leverkusen in the final.

The 26 – year old who is yet to play a game his season for Atalana name was among the list of nominees unveiled on Wednesday by the Ballon D’Or.

The player is currently in Super Eagles camp in Uyo and is expected to be instrumental for Nigeria ahead of the AFCON 2025 Group D game against Cheetahs of Benin on September 7.
