FIFA U17 WORLD CUP Copper Princesses intensify training ahead of World Cup in Dominican Republic

The Zambia U17 Women National Team’s local camp has hit new gear as the team continues to prepare for the eighth edition of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup to be held in the Dominican Republic from 16 October – 4 November, 2024.

Carol Kanyemba’s Princesses have been hard at work at Sunset stadium with 28 players that made the provisional squad all putting in work before the eyes of the technical bench.

The Copper Princesses qualified to the World Cup finals for the second time and are drawn in Group D where they will meet Brazil on 17 October, before facing Poland on 20 October and Japan on 23 October. All Zambia’s pool matches will be played at the Estadio Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo.
