Kevin De Bruyne severely criticises FIFA and UEFA

Belgium captain Kevin De Bruyne has severely tackled UEFA and FIFA regarding the new reform of the Champions League and the Club World Cup.

Kevin De Bruyne does not mince his words and he demonstrated it once again this Thursday, in a press conference before the match between Belgium and Israel.

When he was asked about this new intense season with the new reform of the Champions League and the Club World Cup, the Manchester City player said that FIFA and UEFA are dictated by only one will: money.

“I think the problem will come when we finish the Club World Cup. We know that there will only be three weeks between the Club World Cup final and the first day of the Premier League. You have three weeks to take a holiday and prepare to play another 80 games […] The problem is that UEFA and FIFA are playing extra games and we can try to say something, no solution has been found. They don’t care. It’s money that talks,” said De Bruyne.
