AFCON AFCON 2025: Kenya’s Harambee Stars go for first win against Namibia

Harambee Stars are set to face Namibia in their second 2025 AFCON qualifier match on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.

Kenya began their qualification campaign with a 0-0 draw against Zimbabwe at Mandela Stadium, earning a point. Meanwhile, in the other Group J match, Cameroon defeated Namibia and currently tops the group with three points.

Kenya and Zimbabwe are tied with a point each, while Namibia is yet to register any points. Match officials for the upcoming clash will include Salisu Basheer, Grema Mohammed, Pwadutakam Samuel and Abdulmajeed Olaide.

As Harambee Stars look to secure their first win in the qualifiers, Cameroon will also face Zimbabwe in the other group J match.

The top two teams from each group will earn a spot in the 2025 AFCON tournament, to be hosted by Morocco.
