Burkina Faso secured an emphatic 3-1 win over Malawi in their AFCON qualifier, thanks to a stunning three-minute brace from Lassina Traoré and an additional strike from Hassane Bandé. Burkina Faso remained in control, and their relentless attacking play paid off once again when Hassane Bandé added a third goal in the 60th minute, putting the Stallions in a comfortable lead.

Despite the setback, Malawi fought back, managing to pull a goal back in the 80th minute.
