The Algerian International Andy Delort is back in Algeria as he has signed for a club of the first division.

Without a club since the end of his Qatari experience at Umm Salal SC, Andy Delort has found a new club. The 32-year-old center forward signed on Tuesday, with MC Alger (Algerian D1).

After France, England, Mexico and Qatar, the Algerian international (15 caps) will now discover a fifth country in his professional career.

If a return to Montpellier was discussed for a while, it ultimately did not come to fruition. During his few months in Qatar, Delort scored 13 goals in 20 games. With his new club, he will play in the African Champions League in addition to the national championship.
