Abidjan, Ivory Coast will host the much awaited TotalEnergies CAF Afcon Ivory Coast 2023 Coaches Symposium, which promises to feature a lengthy list of African football legends.
Super Eagles interim coach Austin Eguavoen and former Super Eagles midfielder Austin Jay Jay Okocha are among the legends selected for the symposium.
On Thursday and Friday, September 12–13, in Abidjan, the event will take place.

The Black Stars’ current coach, Otto Addo of Ghana, South Africa’s Mark Fish, and El Hadji Diouf of Senegal and Gadji Celi of Ivory Coast, were among the attendees of the two-day event. Former Cameroon custodian Antoine Bell was also present.
Pape Thiaw of Senegal, Fulham veteran Luis Boa Morte, who currently coaches Guinea-Bissau, are among the other star-studded lineup members. It is anticipated that fifty national team coaches from all of CAF’s member associations would attend the symposium, which will be the first-ever gathering of African coaches.
Top African coaches will be able to share ideas and experiences on this platform, including Emerse Faé, who guided Ivory Coast to the 2023 TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations championship.
