Jadon Sancho came off the bench to help Chelsea defeat Bournemouth 1-0, setting up Christopher Nkunku’s game-winning goal in the 86th minute on the south coast.
After a conflict with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag in the previous campaign, Sancho did not play in the Premier League for a full year.
