Ademola Lookman of the Nigerian Super Eagles was the hero once more in Atalanta’s 3-2 victory over Fiorentina.

Since the beginning of the season, Lookman has been playing well, and his goals helped the Super Eagles defeat Benin 3-0 in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifying match.

Martinez gave Fiorentina the lead early in the match in Bergamo, and Retegui scored the equaliser.

Belgian international Ketelaere equalised after Italian sensation Moise Kean gave the away team the lead once more.

Lookman scored the game’s clinching goal just before halftime, and Fiorentina’s attempts to rally late in the second half were in vain.
