Algeria will be without their midfielder Ismael Bennacer for four months due to a calf injury, the Serie A club stated on Monday.
Bennacer is not anticipated to play again before the end of the year after undergoing surgery on his right calf in Finland.
The 26-year-old, who had participated in Algeria’s 2-0 victory over Equatorial Guinea to begin 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying, sustained the injury during a training session this month while on international duty.
