While Olympique Lyonnais will host Olympiakos next Thursday for their first Europa League match, UEFA has just announced a partial closed-door match for the match.

“Due to a UEFA decision following the OL – West Ham match on April 14, 2022, a partial closed-door match has been declared concerning our north and south bends, on the first European home match” can be read in a message displayed in red on the club’s online ticket office.

OL had, in fact, been sanctioned after attempts to intrude onto the pitch by people angry following the bitter elimination in the quarter-finals second leg (1-1, 0-3) against the English club.
