Stefano Pioli has been named manager of Al-Nassr, taking Luis Castro’s position, the Saudi Pro League team announced on Wednesday.
After a shaky season debut, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr and Portuguese coach Castro split.
The Saudi side withheld information about Pioli’s transaction.

“We are pleased to announce Stefano Pioli as our new coach,” Al-Nassr wrote on X.
Pioli is Nassrawi.
The 58-year-old Pioli, who guided Milan to the 2021–2022 Italian Championship, might begin his tenure on Friday when Al-Nassr visits Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq.
