Atalanta held Arsenal to a scoreless draw in the UEFA Champions League on Thursday, including a respectable performance from Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman.
After an outstanding performance, the Nigerian international was replaced by Lazar Samardžić in the 89th minute.

Oddly, David Raya, the goalkeeper for Arsenal, was the star of the show after producing a magnificent double save to deny Mateo Retegui’s penalty in the 51st minute.
This is only the most recent in a string of outstanding saves that Raya has made since taking over as the team’s starting goalkeeper.
Although Mikel Arteta may be more worried than relieved, the save earned a subpar Arsenal team a point in their Champions League opening against a formidable Italian team.
Arsenal will have a lot of work to do in the new league structure after the draw, but Atalanta will feel encouraged by their strong defensive performance.
It might have been much worse for Arteta, but soon enough, the focus will shift to Sunday’s Premier League match between Manchester City and Chelsea.
