Nsoatreman FC head coach Yaw Preko has expressed his belief in his team’s ability to overturn a challenging two-goal deficit as they prepare for their away clash in Algeria. The Ghanaian side, who recently suffered a 2-0 defeat at the temporarily closed Accra Sports Stadium, must now scale a steep mountain if they hope to advance in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking ahead of the pivotal match, Preko remained positive, acknowledging the difficulties but emphasizing hard work as the key to success.
“We have to work and see how it goes. We have to work hard because it’s a difficult mountain to climb, but we’ll go and make ourselves proud,” Preko stated, reflecting his determination and confidence in his squad.
The loss at home has undoubtedly placed Nsoatreman in a precarious position, with the pressure to score at least two goals without conceding in Algeria. Despite this, the team’s resilience and hunger for success remain intact.
“The first leg didn’t go as planned, but we know what we’re capable of. We’ve trained hard and analyzed our mistakes, so we’ll give everything to to make ourselves proud” the coach added.
Preko, a seasoned tactician with a wealth of experience, is counting on his players’ resolve and collective effort to deliver. He stressed that the upcoming encounter is not only about tactics but also about the mental strength to push through adversity.
As Nsoatreman heads to Algeria, they will have to display immense discipline and a razor-sharp focus if they hope to stun their Algerian counterparts and continue their journey in Africa’s prestigious competition.
