Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker, is questionable for Saturday’s Premier League match against Bournemouth because of a muscle ailment, manager Arne Slot announced Friday.
“Alisson is still a doubt if he can train today, so let’s wait (to see) if he can train,” Slot told reporters. “If he can’t, he probably won’t play as well.
“He has a slight issue with one of his muscles, and we wonder if this game is coming too early or not.”

The Brazilian’s injury was felt prior to Tuesday’s 3-1 Champions League triumph over AC Milan, according to Slot, and it got worse throughout the match.
“Now we have to wait and see if he’s ready to be in goal (on Saturday) or we have to wait a few extra days.”
The Brazilian would be replaced by Caoimhin Kelleher, who spent much of Liverpool’s preseason playing while Alisson was at the Copa America.
This season, Alisson has only let up two goals in five games across all competitions, and Liverpool is off to a strong start under new manager Slot.
After four games, they are fourth in the league rankings, three points behind leaders Manchester City.
They defeated AC Milan at San Siro to make their Champions League comeback after a year away from Europe’s premier competition.
Harvey Elliott is anticipated to be the Reds’ lone other absence at Anfield on Saturday.
With five points, Bournemouth is 11th in the table after losing 11 of their 14 Premier League games versus Liverpool.
