Stade de Reims has just made official the extension of Emmanuel Agbadou until 2028. Arriving from Eupen (Belgium) in 2022, the 27-year-old Ivorian defender has played 69 matches in the Reims jersey.

He has also taken part in all the matches since the start of the season, under the orders of Luka Elsner.

“He is our vice-captain and an extremely important player in the squad, both on a human level and for his great qualities on the pitch. He is a natural leader, a big brother, very important for supervising all the young players in our squad. (…) This extension also symbolises our ambitions. This summer, we kept all our best players. It is a very important message for our entire squad and towards the outside world,” said Mathieu Lacour, general manager of Reims.
