Four days later, the two teams will square off at the Tripoli International Stadium on matchday four.
The Benin Republic’s Cheetahs were defeated 3-0 at home by the Super Eagles to kick off their qualifying campaign.

In their second group match, the Amavubi of Rwanda held the three-time African champions to a scoreless draw.
With four points from two games, the West Africans are first in Group D.
Libya, with one point from two games, is at the bottom of the group. Starting in December 2025, only the best teams from each group will move on to the main competition in Morocco.
