Rangers overcame Dundee United 3-0 on Saturday to advance to the Scottish League Cup semi-finals, led by two goals from Cyriel Dessers.

The encounter that saw James Tavernier score the other goal for the Rangers included Leon Balogun as an unutilised replacement.

Five minutes into the second half, Tavernier doubled the score after Dessers opened the scoring in the eighteenth minute.

Dessers scored his second goal of the match in the 66th minute to put the score at 3-0.
