Galatasaray overcame Fenerbahce 3-1 on Saturday in the Turkish Super Lig thanks to another assist from Victor Osimhen.

When Galatasaray defeated Rizespor 4-0 in his debut match, Osimhen also contributed an assist.

In the 28th minute, the striker on loan from Napoli doubled Galatasaray’s advantage with a brilliant assist from Dries Mertens.

Mertens was set up by Osimhen, who crossed the ball to him with his chest inside the box.

The Belgian raced onto the pass and beat the goalie.

In the twentieth minute, Galatasaray took the lead thanks to an own goal by Dominik Livakovic of Fenerbahce.

On the hour mark, Gabriel Sara scored the third goal, while Edin Dzeko gave Fenerbahce a goal back on the 63rd minute from the penalty spot.

Galatasaray, who now top the league standings after six games with 18 points, is ahead of Fenerbahce by five points.
