Stade Malien will play the group stage of the Confederation Cup. The Caïmans of Bamako overturned Paynesville FC on Friday in a match counting for the return leg of the second preliminary round. A 3-1 victory that ensures their qualification.

USM Alger has secured its ticket for the group stage by beating Stade Tunisien at the Miloud Hadefi stadium in Oran, by a score of two goals to zero. Zamalek and RS Berkane also go through, as does CS Sfaxien.

The draw for the CAF Cup group stage will take place on 7 October 2024 at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo.
