Nigeria Premier League NPFL: Remo Stars Return To Top As Amuneke Awaits First Win

With a 2-0 victory over Kano Pillars on Matchday 3 this past weekend, Remo Stars took back the top spot in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Remo Stars took the lead in the 26th minute through a goal from Sodiq Ismail, and an additional goal an hour later from Frank Mawuena.

With nine points from three games, Remo Stars are first in the rankings. Plateau United, the hosts, were defeated 2-1 by the Niger Tornadoes at the New Jos Stadium.
