AmaZulu FC has strengthened its squad for the upcoming 2024–25 season with the acquisition of experienced Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori. The former Black Stars shot-stopper, who had been unattached since the end of the 2023–24 season following his release from Orlando Pirates, joins AmaZulu as a free agent.

Ofori, who boasts years of experience in the South African Premier League, previously showcased his goalkeeping prowess with Maritzburg United before his high-profile move to Orlando Pirates.
